The Salvation Army recognizes that poverty is a critical issue, and that everyone has the right to access basic necessities such as nutritious food, health care, education and economic opportunity. Those who experience poverty have a shorter lifespan, and often suffer physically and emotionally.

We figured that high school students should experience that feeling of self-fulfillment more often, and what better way to do that than through volunteering?
